Anti-Virus Warning

Over the past few months the increase in virus activity on the internet has increased quite significantly and a number of members have notified us that they are receiving email supposedly from the Brian Jones Fan Club containing attachments and password protected attachments. We would like to inform members that we never send unsolicited emails containing attachments and all such emails should never under any circumstances be downloaded and opened.

Most of these email viruses are generated by un-protected computers receiving an email virus and then using the email address book to mass mail further copies of the virus to everybody in the address book.

We would advise all members to install a reputable anti-virus email scanner and internet firewall program and to ensure that the anti-virus / firewall definitions are kept up to date.
