Welcome to the Brian Jones Fan Club
Website.
Thank you for taking the time to view our website.
We trust that you might find the contents interesting and informative
and we certainly hope that our efforts will encourage you to
join the
BJFC and support us in keeping the spirit of Brian Jones alive.
Recently, members of the fan club, and non–members,
have offered to help in our activities by kindly offering financial
donations and if you'd like to contribute then we'd be most grateful.
We'd appreciate you taking a few minutes to read the reasoning behind
this request by following the donation quick link to the right.
You'll see that we've added a number of new pages
to the website and, where pages are viewed as under construction, these
will be published very shortly, please check out the 'What's New' button
alongside to keep in touch with our updates.
Our first member joined the newly reformed Brian
Jones Fan Club on the 3rd June 2003 and the first edition of the Fan
Clubs fanzine, AfterMath, was distributed to just 14 members on the 31st
August 2003. However, we must have been doing something right because
when it came to distributing Issue # 2, in early December 2003, the
membership had more than doubled by reaching 35 and that became the
trend throughout the first year. We eventually passed the 100 member
milestone in September 2004 and currently the membership stands at 140.
But we need more support so, if you haven't done so already, please
consider joining and supporting us.
Regarding the website, we've made every effort to
double check and verify all of the facts and statements made here,
however, if you believe something to be incorrect or inconsistent with
the truth, we will welcome your comments and feedback. Whilst we are not
averse to contradiction nor constructive criticism, we would request
that your comments, especially on the guestbook, be respectful of
Brian's memory, and to other visitors.
We are being helped and supported by many leading
figures from various walks of life and as such our sincere thanks go to
these people, however, we consider the fans of Brian Jones to be our
most important asset and every effort will be made to ensure that you
all have a website and a magazine to be proud of.
My very best wishes to you all
